Graf Spee’s Eagle rises from Deep

Admiral Graf Spee, a Deutschland-class “Panzerschiff” -armored ship- that , after many battles as many victories, went partially sunk after heavy damage while trying to reach Montevideo port, where part of the ship remained visible above the surface of the water.

In 2006 divers have salvaged a bronze imperial eagle from the Graf Spee, it is still intact and impressive.

The Eagle for now rests in a warehouse at Montevideo under Uruguayan Army control, Uruguay Government won’t sell this item in any auction although its worth could be estimated within ten millions of dollars.

A Day we shall take back our Imperial Symbol.
